Join Us for Giving Weekend

Our teachers are superheroes, but they aren’t superhuman. They are working harder than ever and under more stressful conditions, and no doubt many of them are weary and discouraged. Teachers accept this responsibility and try extremely hard to do this well even when the conditions in which they work are far from ideal; at least most do. Our jobs as a society, education system and parents are to do our best to be strong allies to teachers since their success is essential to ours.

Giving Weekend is an ongoing year-long program sponsored by GarageSaleEasy.com that allows people to sell unwanted items and automatically donate a portion of their proceeds to their favorite causes.  GarageSaleEasy.com is a website and mobile app for Garage Sellers to sell their goods efficiently.  Part of the website’s appeal is the ability to donate a portion of each transaction to a favorite charity using the Touchless Register, thus removing some of the angst of running a garage sale and organizing for charity.
